QuickLure IQ is designed to collect only the information reasonably needed to operate, protect and improve the service. Many personal fishing features are designed to stay private on your own device.
Fishing information you enter
Information you enter to build a fishing situation, such as species, fishing location, depth, fish position, structure, water clarity, forage, fishing method and other conditions, is processed to generate recommendations. Location information may also be used to obtain weather and other condition data.
Private on-device fishing data
Features such as Private Spots, Fishing History, Catch Log entries, Personal Bests, lure inventory and personal catch-pattern information are stored in your browser or device storage unless a feature clearly says otherwise. Catch photos placed in the Private Photo Bank are stored locally in the browser's private storage and are not uploaded or publicly shared through normal use of the feature. If you choose Share Catch, the app creates a share card on your device and hands it to your device's share sheet; sharing occurs only when you choose a destination.
Clearing browser/app storage, changing devices, removing the installed web app or using some privacy-cleaning tools may remove this local data.
Location and GPS
If you choose to use location services, QuickLure IQ may access your device location to resolve your fishing area and obtain relevant weather or condition information. If you save a Private Spot while GPS is active, the saved coordinates are intended to remain in local device storage. Avoid entering a private home address or other sensitive location.
Feedback
If you choose to submit feedback, QuickLure IQ may store your rating, comment and limited fishing context associated with the recommendation so the service can be evaluated and improved. Feedback is kept private for review and is not automatically posted publicly.
Site and install analytics
QuickLure IQ uses analytics to understand general site usage and how install features are being used. Technical information such as platform, browser/user-agent information, timestamps and a temporary session identifier may be processed for these purposes.
Google AdSense, advertising and cookies
QuickLure IQ may use Google AdSense and other advertising services to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to QuickLure IQ or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
Users may opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Information about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services is available at Google's partner-sites policy page.
Other third-party vendors or ad networks may also use cookies where enabled. Their use of information is governed by their own privacy policies and available opt-out controls.
Personalized and non-personalized ads
Depending on your region, consent choices and site settings, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Non-personalized ads may still use cookies or similar technologies for functions such as frequency capping, fraud prevention and aggregated reporting.
Consent and privacy choices
Where required, QuickLure IQ may display a consent message provided through Google Privacy & Messaging or another Google-certified consent management platform. Users in regions where consent is required can choose whether to consent and can manage available privacy options through that message. When Google Privacy & Messaging is active, a privacy and cookie settings control may also be provided so consent can be revisited.
Browser or device settings may provide additional controls for cookies, local storage and tracking technologies.
Security and abuse prevention
For feedback and install analytics, a request IP address may be converted into a one-way hashed technical identifier for rate limiting, security or abuse prevention. QuickLure IQ does not intentionally store the raw IP address in its feedback records.
Service providers
QuickLure IQ uses third-party service providers for hosting, analytics, data storage, weather information, advertising and other technical functions needed to operate the site. Those providers may process technical information as necessary to provide their services.
Shopping and affiliate links
QuickLure IQ may contain links to third-party retailers, including affiliate links. If you choose to follow one of those links, the third-party site may collect information under its own privacy policy. QuickLure IQ does not control the privacy practices of third-party websites.
Children
QuickLure IQ is a general fishing tool and is not designed to knowingly collect sensitive personal information from children.
Changes
This policy may be updated when QuickLure IQ's features, analytics, advertising or service providers change. The updated date at the top of this page will show when the policy was last revised.
